Währung

 

Nordzyperns Währung ist die Türkische Lira (TRY), jedoch werden auch Euros, US-Dollar, Britische Pfund und Kryptowährungen anerkannt.

Währungsstabile Produkte- wie Autos oder Immobilien, werden großteils in Britischen Pfund oder mit Kryptowährung bezahlt.

In Punkto Kryptowährung ist Zypern äußerst fortschrittlich.

So können in vielen Wechselstuben Kryptos in Bargeld und umgekehrt getauscht werden.

Aufenthaltserlaubnis

 

Eine Aufenthaltserlaubnis kann bei der Ausländerbehörde in Nikosia beantragt werden.

Voraussetzung ist das Vorlegen diverser Dokumente, sowie der Nachweis eines Wohnsitzes in Nordzypern. Hierbei kann es sich sowohl um ein gemietetes Objekt als auch um Eigentum handeln.

Der Antrag wird zunächst vom Migrationsdienst der Bezirkspolizei geprüft und dann an die Einwanderungsbehörde weitergeleitet.

Für Erwachsene folgt eine ärztliche Untersuchung und das Ausstellen eines Gesundheitszertifikate.

Die Aufenthaltserlaubnis ist ist 6 Monate gültug ein Jahr gültig und muss bei der entsprechenden Behörde jährlich verlängert werden.

Arbeitsvisum Nordzypern

 

Um in diesem Land einen Job zu bekommen, müssen Sie sich im Voraus einen Job suchen.

Das Verfahren zur Erstellung eines Arbeitsvertrags ist kompliziert, daher müssen Sie unbedingt ein Arbeitsvisum für sich selbst eröffnen.

Wenn Sie sich an einer Universität in Nordzypern bewerben, ist dies nicht erforderlich.

 Studierende können während ihres Studiums im Land arbeiten, es sind also keine zusätzlichen Unterlagen erforderlich. Diejenigen, die nicht vorhaben, die Universität von Nordzypern zu besuchen, müssen mit dem Migrationsdienst und ihrem zukünftigen Arbeitgeber in Kontakt treten.

Krankenversicherung

 

Eine Krankenversicherung ist in Nordzypern nicht verpflichtend, jedoch trotz geringerer Arztkosten empfehlenswert.

Eine Versicherung kann sowohl in Deutschland als auch vor Ort abgeschlossen werden. Wichtig ist es darauf zu achten, wie lange die Versicherung gilt und welche Leistungen abgedeckt werden.

Die ärztliche Versorgung in Nordzypern unterliegt einem hohen Standard und die Krankenhäuser sind gut ausgestattet.

In der Regel bekommt man schnell einen Krankenhaus- oder Arzttermin (ein bis drei Tage).

Grundschule: Im Alter von sieben bis zwölf Jahren besuchen Kinder die Grundschule in Nordzypern. Sie können zwischen öffentlichen und privaten Schulen wählen.

Schule: Nach Abschluss der Grundschule folgt die Ausbildung bis zur elften Klasse. Im Durchschnitt schließen die Jugendlichen die Schule mit 15 Jahren ab.

  • Unterkunft: Die Durchschnittskosten für ein Hostel liegen bei 20 Euro und circa. 120 Euro für ein 3-Sterne-Hotel. In einem Luxushotel müssen Sie mit etwa 210 Euro pro Nacht rechnen.
  • Miete: Die Mietpreise sind je nach Lage unterschiedlich. Eine 2-Zimmer-Wohnung können Sie schon ab 450 Euro bekommen. 
  • Öffentlicher Verkehr: 1-3 Euro
  • Mietauto: Circa 25-40 Euro pro Tag in der Hochsaison, sonst noch günstiger
  • Restaurant: In Restaurants zahlt man im Schnitt insgesamt circa 40 Euro mit Vorspeise und Getränk für 2 Personen.

Lebensmittel

 

Was Lebensmittel betrifft, finden Sie saisonales Obst und Gemüse zu den besten Preisen auf den lokalen Märkten.

Nicht nur in Bezug auf die Mietpreise ist es die günstigste mediterrane Lebensweise, sondern auch in Bezug auf viele Arten von Lebensmitteln.

Markenware kann hier allerdings so teuer sein, wie Sie es gewohnt sind.

Ein weiteres Plus: Alkohol und Zigaretten gelten gemeinhin als günstig, sodass man mit guten Gewissen den ein oder anderen Wein am Abend vor atemberaubender Kulisse genießen kann.

Kulinarik

 

Die türkisch-zypriotische Küche wurde im Laufe der Geschichte von verschiedenen Kulturen beeinflusst. Einflüsse kommen aus dem Mittelmeerraum, dem Nahen Osten und Zypern.

Jedes Gericht hat einen einzigartigen Geschmack und präsentiert sich wunderschön, was den zypriotischen Charakter widerspiegelt.

Einige zypriotische Gerichte sind: Moluhia, dolma jalanci, Kebab, Moussaka, besonders schmackhafte lokale Gerichte.

Die Spezialitäten Nordzyperns bestehen aus einer großen Anzahl kalter und warmer Gerichte, wie verschiedenen Salaten, Fleisch, Gemüse und Fisch. Die am häufigsten servierten Gerichte von Misa sind gegrillter Halloumi-Käse, Kofta Burgul und Zigarren-Burka.
